On the fly- Simply Chic Baby Bottle Warmer:
On The Fly™ bottle warmer was designed for mothers and fathers ‘on the go’ that desire a functional and chic product for their baby. Whether parents are running errands, traveling, working, or playing this product offers a simple solution and better alternative for heating baby bottles.
I love the idea- we used it in the car, taking the milk out of the cooler or
buying milk at the store and then warming it. Our daughter liked holding her
bottle with the warmer on it, even though the directions say not to do that.
The cow print is cute (maybe breast-feeders wouldn't like it?).
However, overall it took about 30 minutes for any temp change to occur. If the milk was cold, straight from a gas station fridge, it never got warm. Best would be to use those little boxes of organic milk from the store that don't have to be in the fridge, pour in bottle and then use warmer. We didn't have those though, so it was a nice little hand-warmer for our baby. If backpacking or hiking, I would carry the room-temp milk boxes and then use the warmers at bedtime, probably only one a day, since the packaging of the milk box and the little warming pocket adds up to a lot of waste. Our baby, is 15 months though, and she is our second baby (!) so if her milk is cold/ luke-warm she still drinks it and doesn't seem to care. These warmers would be nice if you had a younger baby or a finicky one that would only take milk at a warm temperature. I would like to put this with a bottle that had a thermometer on it, so you could know how warm/ cold the milk is without sticking your finger in it. But do I really have the time to worry about that...?
