Being better prepared is key. This time we had a large tent, a proper kitchen kit and cleaning supplies for our dishes.  We were able to stay camping for four nights. Heidi would stay with Cora at the site during the day and I would drive to work.  It was really fun. Cora got to play with rocks and dirt.  She was only 11 months.  We went for walks and were able to have camp fires, see starts and large open skies. IT is very different then the backpacking trips we are so used to but way worth it.

oh yeah, I forgot to mention. The dog was wearing a cone this time because she was scratching too much.  We also brought the pack and play so that Cora could be contained during specific moments. We did not use it very much.
